About Sophie

My name is Sophie Stern. I am twenty years old and I am a second year student at  Glendale Community College. I am majoring in dance. I dance in the dance company Verve Dance Company. I have been dancing for fifteen years. I danced at Dance Theater West, and danced in high school for five years. I have acted with Detour Company Theatre since 2012. 

This season we are doing Mean Girls. I am playing the role of Karen Smith.  In high school I was in theater, dance, and choir. I was in productions at my high school and we did Once Upon a Mattress and others.  

I am working at The Bee’s Knees located in Phoenix, Arizona and I am an advocate on the Arizona Developmental Disabilities Planning Council.
